I don't. It seems like the natural progression.Don't you think that 'writing down' the 'oral' traditions is ironic? Humorous as well.

The Jews have The Ark, they do.
Wrong. Jeremiah had the priests stash it under Golgotha hundreds of years before Jesus was crucified.- never existed nor their fictitious content ever witnessed by anyone other than the liar moses.
A man found it in the 70s.
The ark went missing about 1,000 years before Christ died.
You are mixing two concepts up here… The “ Jews” were to be a “ holy “ people with the meaning of Holy being separate, apart, or unique. Has that not been their lot since the beginning and does it not still continue today … The hatred misunderstanding and belittling they receive from others continues to help them stay holy or unique and separate and now that theyhave their own country once again they can continue to do so( much to the chagrin of, envy, hatred jeleously of others in etc etc).. … Your Jesus or concept of Jesus as given to you in your book written by the Roman scribes has no bearing and never did…One cannot teach the proper concepts and wipe away thousands of years of horrible rotten teachings as found in the New Testament if one doesn’t have their own platform (or classroom) to shine a clean and bright light( truth and knowledge) to remove the gross darkness ( lies and follies) that permeate the whole world.. Let’s rebuild the temple on Mt Moriah which means literally to “ teach” and wipe away all the errounous nonsense people have swallowed together… Of course that is my wish but looks to me like people are loath to give up their mistaken customs and foibles to say the least…Are Jews still the "chosen people?" Most Christians believe that God in human form (Jesus) fulfilled the Old Testament prophecy of a Messiah for the Jewish people. Since most Jews rejected Jesus, didn't they also reject God himself? If so, how could they still remain His chosen people? If they are not, what is their status according to Christian theology?
Thanks for responding, but your reply seems like a rambling litany of generalities without any specificity. Furthermore, my question was about Christian theology regarding a "chosen" people, not an attack on Jewish beliefs. You are mixing two concepts up here… The “ Jews” were to be a “ holy “ people with the meaning of Holy being separate, apart, or unique. I still have yet to figure out what they were "chosen" for.Are Jews still the "chosen people?" Most Christians believe that God in human form (Jesus) fulfilled the Old Testament prophecy of a Messiah for the Jewish people. Since most Jews rejected Jesus, didn't they also reject God himself? If so, how could they still remain His chosen people? If they are not, what is their status according to Christian theology?
