Are gas prices dropping like a rock in your AO?

AI Overview

Yes, gas prices are falling, with the national average dropping to its lowest point in over four years, around $2.95 to $3.00 per gallon
. This decline is attributed to lower crude oil prices, decreased gasoline demand, and the seasonal transition to cheaper winter-grade fuel. Some sources predict prices will remain low, with the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) forecasting average prices could fall below $3.00 in 2026.

I drove by one station in town this morning and it was $2.24....I checked gas buddy and it's averaging $2.35.

Those are not cash prices either.

Check for state taxes and maybe that is why it is that high.
Of course Robert.
WA State does have ONE of the highest State Taxes.
No one has agreed otherwise.

But the $1.00 increase has nothing to due with the State Taxes.
The $1.00 has everything to do with Trump.
Do you agree?
Or do you want to defend Trump once again?

$4.79 this morning in our local burg due to WA's cockamamie democrat fuel/carbon taxes. Average in WA is up to $5.06/gallon. ID just crossed the $4 line. I paid $6.09 for diesel yesterday and that was the cheapest in the county.

I will blame Trump if you can locate his executive order ordering fuel refineries to raise prices. Can you do that?
