I don't mean to be condescending but I've been harping about this for years. And just wait for the big LGBT cult exposure...for it is coming. And it will come right on the eve of both the 2014 and 2016 elections. Millions will defect from the middle to just right of center and yes, this will mean another 8 years of Cheney-type governance. I only hope his/their sucking of the Treasury with more oil-wars isn't the final death blow to our economy.

I wrote a thread about it years ago about the gay albatross that hangs around the neck of the democratic party...willingly... The leadership knows where this is going but they just don't care. They're willing to sacrafice healthcare, green energy, peaceful relations with world countries, jobs, wages, clean environment and all the other excellent democratic platforms for butt sex. That's literally it.

That lavender money has wrapped a noose around the neck of the dems. Hillary has no chance. And there are more than a few purple states where the congressional votes will go red. The irony is that when this happens, all the gay advances they've made will be unceremoniously rolled back.

To say it's stupid policy for dems to embrace the gay is not even close to describing what's actually going on with the democratic party. It's sheer insanity. And given who's running the show there, "insane" makes the most sense. When you take over the doctor's office [the APA in the 1970s] in order to declare yourself "cured" [removed from the DSM], you aren't cured by political fiat. You're still just as insane as you were before only now you seem to be able to get people to agree that you're not at least on paper...

It's the physical manifestations that betray the disease of the mind. And those manifestations are destroying the democratic party.

President Obama won by over 120 electoral votes and took over 62% of the vote. That puts Republicans in quite a bind in 2016. They need to reassert themselves in battleground states and even turn some blue states into battleground.

What I find offensive is Republican tax cut demagoguery. The teabaggers talk about cutting taxes and balancing the budget. They do not talk about specific spending cuts.

Since Barry Goldwater's well deserved public flogging in 1964 Republican politicians have learned that that while most Americans favor less government "in principle" there is little support for specific sending cuts.

According to a survey administered by YouGov (formerly Polimetrix) from April 26 - May 2, 2012, most Republicans are opposed to major cuts in the military, Social Security, and Medicare.
