Why don't we try a novel new approach? Save guard our boarders to keep illegals out. It will cost a ton of money but so does being host to millions of illegal immigrants. This is probably the only immigration issue that the right, left, and center can agree on. I can hardly wait to see the new Democratic Immigration Reform bill. It looks pretty good right now, but we haven't seen the goodies coming from the lobbying groups which could kill it.

Getting rid of the socialistic welfare state and ending the brain dead "war" on (some) drugs is the real old school conservative approach to this, as those who came to America would have to pull their own weight.

But even talk about paring back those fool policies, and the left would mess their pants on a daily basis.
