Apple boosted its profits using a "sweetheart" tax deal with Ireland secured by threatening to cut jobs here if it didn't get what it wanted, a political ally of US President Barack Obama has claimed.

Since no other company has the same 'deal', it's clear Apple got preference.

My question remains; What's to stop Apple or other companies that ran to use tax free from US monies to buy products to sell in the US and deduct the expense of monies they never paid tax? Sweet deal if you can get away with it.
