The House Ethics Committee is investigating New York Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

On Wednesday, the committee released a brief statement saying a probe into the high-profile progressive was being extended, but didn't delve into details about what it was regarding.

'The Acting Chairwoman and Acting Ranking Member of the Committee on Ethics have jointly decided to extend the matter regarding Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, which was transmitted to the Committee by the Office of Congressional Ethics on June 23, 2022,' the statement said.

'The Committee notes that the mere fact of a referral or an extension, and the mandatory disclosure of such an extension and the name of the subject of the matter, does not itself indicate that any violation has occurred, or reflect any judgment on behalf of the Committee, ' it continued.

'The Committee will announce its course of action in this matter following its organizational meeting and adoption of Committee Rules in the 118th Congress,' it said.

She got too cocky too quick. Her sudden popularity went to her head. Democrats that went against other Democrats paid the price. She doesn't seem to understand politics very much. The Electoral College members chosen by the majority of USA voters, voted to elect Joseph Biden rather than ex-president Donald Trump. Those members constituting the majority of electors who elected our current U.S. President.
There's evidence that ex-president Trump, while still in office, did plot and attempt to unconstitutionally overturn the 2020 presidential elections. Trump did urge and support the seditious attack upon the U.S. Congressional members and personal in the Capital building on January 6th.

Unlike ex-president Donald Trump, Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez retains her federal office and (has thus far not, as Trump did), betrayed her oath to the constitution and the government of the United States. We made such a big error in 2016 that led us to the best economy in 50 years, reasonable gas prices and inflation, a much more secure border, better trade deals, great stock market growth, North Korea stopped firing their test missiles.

Then we rectified our mistake with record gasoline prices, worst inflation in 40 years, under nuclear arms threat for the first time in a half century, NK once again firing missiles, the border the worst it's been in 20 years or longer with a record amount of border contacts and the most illegal immigrants in our country ever in this short of time, lost 13 American solders in the Afghanistan Fup, the stock market in the tank with people who wanted to retire this year but can't due to their IRA getting so low.

The only thing Dementia built back better was the Taliban. Great show leftist American voters for this rectification.

First thing the US has never been a Democracy it has always been a Constitutional Republic. The Founding Fathers loathed Democracies. Last I'm no Trump cheerleader and AOC is a self-confirmed Socialist. The most murderous socioeconomic system in history if voters put people like that in office they are historically retarded.
