And it's legal because the ones making it legal make sure they're allowed to do it.

This is something I hope we all can agree on.

Congress should not be allowed to use inside knowledge to profit off of stock trades.

Knowing favorable/unfavorable legislation will be passed, for example.

I am in corporate finance and we have blackout periods when it is VERY illegal to buy or sell the company stock. Typically between the time we are compiling financial results and when those results are made public.

Why should Congress be allowed to buy or sell stocks before any information they have is made public?

Wouldn't it be a lot easier ... If the People stopped asking Congress ... To take care of every damn thing ...
Spending money we don't have ... And allowing those Assclowns in Congress the opportunity ...
To be as corrupt as they are going to be ... And pretend that a Law they will write ... Is ever going to stop it.

Shut off the money ... And that will stop the Insider Trading ...
And might even help us get out of $37 trillion in debt.

What makes people think writing a Law will take care of things ...
When they are already breaking the Law in the first place?

Instead of ... Stop giving them cookies to eat.

Enforce the Laws we have ...
And reduce the opportunity for those in Federal Government ...
To be corrupt with our tax dollars.

What should our Federal Government handle ...
International Affairs, National Defense. Interstate Commerce ...
Our Sovereignty as a Nation of Laws ... And our Borders to protect all that ...

Everything else can be handled at the State and Local levels.
That would allow for more influence from the People themselves and what they desire.
People might even start talking to their neighbors to gain support for their ideas and ambitions ...
Instead of everyone just fighting with each other.
