I'm not sure how they could run anyone but Biden without just throwing out the primaries.

Not a single person voted for Cuomo in the primaries.

Pffft. Primaries, Schmimaries. Not necessary, just bread and circus to make the plebes think they have some kind of influence. We don't. A party will nominate whoever it wants to nominate, period. There's literally no law anywhere that says they have to run primaries. Even the election itself isn't called for by law.

Bernie and his entire organization put in a tremendous amount of effort to secure a solid second place finish. When Biden is forced to step aside, normal people would think Bernie should be the nominee. However, the Bernie Bros will be cool when Soros and the ChiComs take the nomination away from Bernie to give it to someone less deserving. That's just how these things work

Isn't really a question of "deserving" --- hell look who's in the WH right now ---- it's a question of which horse will get the party to the finish line. That's all it is. It's Richard Petty deciding between a Dodge and a Chevy. "Primaries" are an illusion, nothing more. Focus groups to market a product.
