Does this sounds like something a king would do?

On January 17, 2025, three days before leaving office, President Joe Biden issued a statement "affirming" the Equal Rights Amendment as "the law of the land." Despite having zero authority to do so.

The president has no official role in the amendment process.

So..., was Joe Biden acting like a king?

Yep. And so did Obama, Bush, Clinton etc ....

It gets worse with each President. It's time to put a stop to it.

Wait, is your argument that Biden "acted like a king", by changing the Constitution, or... is it that his statements have no influence on what the constitution says. Those are mutually exclusive.

It seems to me that you realize the difference between making a statement and actually acting on that statement perfectly... at least when it comes to Trump, and situationally when it comes to Biden. The situation bit being, whatever narrative you're pushing at a given time.

So pick a lane.

Do you want to argue that a president making statements about the constitution means he's "acting like a king", in which case I will give you quote after quote of Trump making statements about the Constitution a person with even a basic understanding of civics will reject.

Or do you want to argue that a President can't overturn the Constitution by making statements.
Can an American president open our borders without Congress?.... aren't dems allowed to select their own candidates or is Pelosi a queen?.... talk the talk but you don't walk the walk.... you are a serf....

No, the president cannot change the constitution.

Yes, if he attempts to do so anyway by "affirming" an expired and unratified amendment (unratified at the time of its expiration) to be the "law of the land", then he is acting like a king.

Now you'd best get to fixing Wikipedia to correctly show what you know to be fact.

You are surprised that it's just not Democrats fighting to save the country from trump ? No kings has a vast array of organizations all opposing trump. No Democrats are communists. They are a separate entity. And many are non-political , they just want sound , stable , lawful governance. That's why it even has republican-leaning groups in it.
I for one was not at all surprised to see you demfasict aligned with Marxist in some perverted belief you are saving your ideology from trump and America

Bullying, degrading, insulting and imposing sanctions on US allies, then when the moron screws everything up by trying to be billy badass, he cries when the very same countries tell the orange, whiny baby to F-off.
why are they in NATO then?

How does someone affirm something that he can't affirm in the first place? And what's the difference between affirming something you can't affirm and giving an opinion and declaring it truth?

The issue though was you said nothing for almost four years…all you did was lavish praise on the xiden regime as they destroyed our democracy

LOL, odd if I condemned his lack of cognizance during his administration means I said nothing.

LOL

Oh he does, but here you are comparing xiden to trump in an attempt to deflect

Again you did nothing but protect and deflect

Nope, an attempt to state facts. We elect the infirm.

15th post
LOL, a few months into his administration? LOL
Yes, a few months in and clear mental health issues…and you were already deflecting and projecting

You spent four years doing that

You will whitewash until the realities of an oppressive dictatorial government is in your face. Covid was a warning with prog controlled areas. Of the powers accrued over decades. No communist government has freedoms we enjoy at this point. A number of Progressive politicians mocked and smeared Christianity and that is dangerous. Joe did promise unity. We saw none of it. Trump has a lot of unity in his agendas. The Pravda controlled media though smothers it.
