Especially having to work so hard. Then there's the risk involved.
It would be a good job for an adventuresome young man or woman.

Some idiot saw a uniform and a marked pick up in their neighborhood and so they called in the ICE protesters... but the guy was a park ranger getting new tires on his truck....
D'oh!!!!.....
ICE should send out decoy caravans to lure DEMTIFA types to the wrong areas.
Does it come with jack boots? What's not to like? Travel within the United States, meet interesting people, and get paid about $42.38 an hour. That's $88,157 per year.
Plus you get to wear a spiffy uniform.
Nope.Nobody else finds it worrying that CBP now has a budget bigger than the Russian military? In fact bigger than most of the world's militaries?
Necessary security measures due to Democrat threats.Bigger than all the other federal enforcement agencies rolled into one?
And allowed to anonymously kidnap folks off the street with no warrants, ID or even their faces showing?
Not when they are enforcing laws passed under a representative republic.Do you people really not see the fascism here?

DHS prepares for unprecedented spending surge under ‘Big, Beautiful Bill’
"The Department of Homeland Security is set to receive a massive influx of funding to boost law enforcement hiring and make major capital investments under the recently passed tax and reconciliation bill.
The so-called “One Big Beautiful Bill” passed late last week includes an additional $165 billion for DHS over the next decade. Much of the funding would go toward border security and immigration enforcement.
The DHS provisions in the reconciliation bill were led by House Homeland Security Chairman Mark Green (R-Tenn.), who resigned from Congress after voting for the bill...
...The bill includes $4.1 billion for CBP to hire 5,000 customs officers and 3,000 border patrol agents over the next four years. It also includes $2 billion for annual retention or signing bonuses at CBP, as well as $600 million for recruiting, hiring and retention initiatives."

ICE should commandeer some industrial sized snowplow vehicles. The ICE van caravan took an alternate route, but protesters are building a barricade to prevent the next caravan from leaving.
