Anyone know what's wrong here?

"Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is once again making it clear that progressives want to go big with social infrastructure spending, even amidst pushback from the moderate wing of the party.

On Twitter, she wrote that a $1 trillion bill would come to just about $100 billion every year.

"That's the annual budget for NYC alone, but spread thin for everyone in the US. Do you think that's enough to be impactful? To be widely felt in people's lives? It's not. Sufficiency is the bare minimum," Ocasio-Cortez wrote, implying that $1 trillion falls below her acceptable minimum."

what she doesn't know because she's a bartender, is that 1 trillion is a rock in a bucket for the amount of money needed to do what she intends. She can't be honest about it because her handlers won't let her. Bartender, doesn't know a thing about money, except for someone buying her a shot.

I know what would REALLY make an impact on everyone's lives! If we fired all these candy asses in Washington DC, got corrupt, incompetent government out of everyone's hair and made these idiots actually go out and get real jobs producing something other than hot air!

Each spending bill is over a ten year period.

So if the spending bill was for $100, you'd get $10 over ten years.

A lot of people seem to thing it's just for one year.

What's wrong with AOC?
She's a moron.
She chased Amazon's new HQ2 from her district in NYC to VA, along with the construction jobs, and 25,000 high paying corporate jobs. That stupidity also cost NY State $28b a year in new taxes.

So AOC is way too stupid to be in congress. That's what's wrong.

She is putting it in perspective

To put it in perspective, we spend almost a trillion dollars a year on our military but are outraged a a trillion dollars over ten years to help our people

We spend almost 40 cents of every military dollar in the world.
All this to defend a country that hasn’t seen an invasion in 200 years.
Our military defends countries on the other side of the globe while we ignore critical Social Services for AMERICANS
Things like healthcare, education, welfare, public services, infrastructure

How did that $2 trillion we invested in Afghanistan work out?
How much better would the lives of Americans be if we invested that $2 trillion HERE?

How many billions in a trillion?
How many? it's only 1,000. so tell me what your point was?

My bet is you thought it was a trillion, right? hahahaahahahahahahahahahahha

more evidence the demofks can't do math.

We get it, its a trick of Washington.... PROJECT.....just do an anual budget.......it's not hard, people do it all the time. Maybe actually hold hearings on programs and see if they have goals, are they meeting the goals.....but that's too much transparency for DC, better to make huge bloated bills that noone can really understand......

$100b annually spread across the entire US is pretty thin. Meanwhile the defense budget is approved without question for $730b annually.

The problem with AOC is that she still votes for global socialism, AS WELL AS socialism at home.

Hey, If we quit with the foreign aid, the open borders, and the military industrial warplex and routed those funds home sure...but that shit isn't working out like that.

I’m sure you are aware that our military spend money on light bulbs, toilet paper and many other products that are not geared for combat.
