A woman is in serious condition after falling 50 feet from a rock wall above the Pali Highway on Sunday afternoon.
According to witnesses, the woman in her 30s was free-climbing the rock wall with another male hiker without any harnesses or safety gear. She began to slide after losing her grip and plunged 50 feet to the ground below.
Now this person may or may not have health insurance BUT in either case another example of why health costs and insurance premiums continue to increase.
Idiocy! My parents and parents during my youth would have said.."what a stupid thing to do"!
Why don't we admit that idiots that "want to be free" to be who they be..." and do idiotic activities like these GET what they deserve BUT why should the rest of us pay for their endorphin high?
How stupid it is for any of these current high risk activities... sky diving.. mountain climbing, skateboarding all they do is add to the cost of health care BECAUSE the majority of these people are idiots that should receive the Darwin award!
Idiots like anyone who does these activities if they can't afford the bills should live in poverty because of a few moments high!
DUMB DUMB DUMB is all that one has to say about people that participate in these high risk activities that our parents would
have told us are what little kids do... not supposedly informed responsible adults!
