Any cool toy ideas I can get my elderly dog to keep him busy and not so lonely? The more dynamic the better.

I considered that but too costly especially once we sell the house and I need to rent.

Cheap plastic ball. He will chase it all day.

Leave the TV on, it does not have to be very loud.....Basically old dogs (depending on the breed) just want to be left alone when their master is away.

I left the TV on. Animal planet works well. My dog was blind as well. I got her toys that made a noise.

When Lady got old all she wanted was to lay in the back yard & get hugs from her papa (me).

I would sit on the floor and she would come lean against me...and lean harder...which turned into laying on me...then she'd flop over in my lap & I would rub her tummy.

But she did watch TV so I would leave the TV on and tuned to animal planet with the volume on low.

She was a 70 pound yellow lab/sheppard mix.

One time I videoed her watching TV & played it for her...then videoed that.

Soon I had a vid of her watching herself, watching herself, watching herself, watching TV

Blew her mind!
