refers to making a profit off INVESTMENT-----generally loans. In both the christian worlds (of the past
2000 years) and the muslim (of the past 1400 years)----the practice thereof was considered a GROSS
JEWISH VICE and actually assigned to jews. It was also used as a libel to justify pogroms and mass
expulsions-------it is a bit complicated since without "interest" the economy cannot GO. Feel free

wrong again----the term USURY refers to ANY rate of interest in both Canon law and
Shariah law. Try to cope with reality-----It WAS illegal for both THE CHURCH MEMBERS---to wit
all catholics and REMAINS illegal for all muslims. Banking in muslim countries was adapted
by creative jewish economic professors to accommodate these laws. Canon law just adjusted
as needed. Sad that you missed it----historically this BS was quite a force. You are confused
because the word is misused in the US as you noted and 'ANTI-USUARY LAWS" do refer to limitations
on amounts of interest on loans and conjures up images of LOAN SHARKS and SHYLOCKS

was considered USURY and was something jews did because christians
