Another young woman falls victim to GOP abortion laws. RIP

What am I lying about jackass?

They refused to do anything until the non viable fetus no longer had a heart beat… and it was then too late to save the mother

They hem and haw because they want a case to overturn the law entirely.

They had to dither for 40 hours?

The law that has been place since prior to Roe? Your exploitation of the tragic deaths of these women for crass political purposes is disgusting.
Until Roe /Dobbs, those laws had no effect.

Can we get the facts straight first?? What happened and why? Did the current abortion law exist before or after Dobbs? We're the doctors really hesistent to act because of that law??
Why is this a political football??

These tragedies only happen because of these anti-abortion laws

Texas law allows abortions to save the life of the mother.

Duh.

Why dont they rewrite their law to make that clear ? At the moment the key people do not believe that.

It was clear enough to the legislature.

But I don't think the D's in Texas are really willing to work with Gov. Abbott to provide clarification, they just want to glorify Abortion on Demand.

For non emergencies, 2 doctors to sign off that the life of the mother is in danger. No such requirement for emergencies.

Sounds pretty simple to understand to me.

Why cant the abortionists in Texas understand the law- particularly considering the fact that the law concerns their trade?

As you said, they don't want to. They want their way or no way.

Lib democrats

Maybe with an online medical degree from the Bahamas

Because any real doctor knows when a condition is life threatening

But if you are a quack abortion activist with an agenda dead party girls are expendable

Yup No women ever died because of medial malpractice. Stop embarrassing yourself and exploiting the deaths of these poor women for your own political purposes. It's disgusting.

Well your "clear law" now has a body count. So it really isnt clear at all.

So a law that says emergency abortions are permitted isn't clear enough to the doctors? Why do I have a hard time believing this?
The law says more than that, And doctors dont want to be the doctor who goes to jail. Clarify what "daanger" is.

Sec.A171.205. EXCEPTION FOR MEDICAL EMERGENCY; RECORDS. (a) Sections 171.203 and 171.204 do not apply if a physician believes a medical emergency exists that prevents compliance with this subchapter. (b) A physician who performs or induces an abortion under circumstances described by Subsection (a) shall make written notations in the pregnant woman ’s medical record of : (1) the physician’s belief that a medical emergency necessitated the abortion; and (2) the medical condition of the pregnant woman that prevented compliance with this subchapter.
.. so according to the critics, this isn't a clear exception to the abortion law?? Are the doctors unable to comprehend "Sections 171.203 and 171.204 do not apply if a physician believes a medical emergency exists that prevents compliance with this subchapter." ???
