Yeah, I'm pretty sure Hamas wouldn't allow them to do that. For one big reason. If there aren't as many people out there supporting it, it will reflect badly on Hamas, so they must compel the population to behave in such a manner.

Look at how North Korea compels the behavior of its population. Now look at Hamas. See where I'm going with this?

Look no further than what they do to women and children when it comes time for an Israeli bombing campaign. Look how they hide their weaponry and ordinance in schools and hospitals. Look how they round up innocent civilians and force them into harm's way, and then claim to care that they were killed in Israeli bombing.
