Bush was the worst thing that happened in a long time. I get sick to think I voted for him , twice. Will never make the mistake of voting for another Bush.
Bush was the worst thing that ever happened in a long time? I agree that he was not the best President by far, but he was sure a helluva lot better than the one we have now.
Despite getting the blame for dragging us into 2 wars by HIMSELF, that is just Liberal denial and delusion. After the 9/11.01 attack, the planning of which began during Clinton's administration (and they never realized something fishy about a bunch of Muslim guys wanting to learn to FLY a plane but not caring about how to LAND a 747 was a little fishy), Democrats did not just vote to give Bush the authorization to go to war, they LOUDLY advocated if from the floors of the House and Senate:
- "If Saddam rejects peace and we have to use force, our purpose is clear. We want to seriously diminish the threat posed by Iraq's weapons of mass destruction program." -- Bill Clinton
- "He will use those weapons of mass destruction again, as he has ten times since 1983." --Sandy Berger, Clinton National Security Adviser
- "There is no doubt that ... Saddam Hussein has reinvigorated his weapons programs. Reports indicate that biological, chemical and nuclear programs continue apace and may be back to pre-Gulf War status. In addition, Saddam continues to redefine delivery systems and is doubtless using the cover of a licit missile program to develop longer-range missiles that will threaten the United States and our allies." Letter to President Bush, Signed by: -- Sen. Bob Graham (D, FL)
- "We know that he has stored secret supplies of biological and chemical weapons throughout his country." -- Al Gore
- "I will be voting to give the President of the United States the authority to use force -- if necessary -- to disarm Saddam Hussein because I believe that a deadly arsenal of weapons of mass destruction in his hands is a real and grave threat to our security." -- Sen. John F. Kerry (D, MA)
When anyone points out that these GROWN-UPs declared these things and voted on their own to give Bush the authority to go to war they freak out, claim Democrats have no accountability, and blame BUSH for them voting the way they personally did.
Did Bush go to far? Depends on who you ask. If you could ask JFK - he said the US would make any sacrifice, bear any burden to stand with a people who desired freedom. Obama claimed he wanted peace above all else and that we should stay out of other people's/nations' business.....
...of course THAT was before he injected himself into Egypt's politics by helping the terrorist group the Muslim Brotherhood take over our ally's government and before he took this nation to war on his own to help the perpetrators of 9/11/01 (and 9/11/12) take over Libya. (Did ya vote for THIS guy twice?) (By the way, yes, I think Bush went too far.)
Obama...a self-professed tutored student of Communist Frank Marshall Davis, student of Socialist Saul Alynski - even quoted him during an inauguration speech, mentored 'child' for more than a decade of racist hate-spewing anti-American 'pastor' Jeremiah Wright, and friend of domestic terrorist Bill Ayers, a man who bombed his own country and who killed cops (anyone wonder why Obama started the War on Cops?), and the offspring of an Anti-Colonialist who believed the US became great by raping and pillaging the world and who wanted to see the US eliminated as a world power and a world influence...vowed before he entered office to 'fundamentally change the US'...to see daddy's dream come true.
Obama thought the American people were SO stupid that he OPENLY adopted an historical, well-known Socialist slogan and symbol for his re-election campaign, believing most stupid people would not know it, would not believe it if pointed out, or wouldn't care. It turned out that all 3 were true. (To prove how arrogant and how Un-American the Democratic party (Progressive Socialists) has become, they are running an openly admitted full-blown Socialist as their party's potential nominee to be President ... showing they WELCOME and are open to represent SOCIALISTS, that they advocate Socialism as a replacement to the government our Founding Fathers created and entrusted to us. Obama has already 'mortally wounded it, violating his oath of office, Constitution, and Rule of Law at will as it suits him... Now they're sending in Bernie to 'finish her off'?!) And people still voted for this man...twice...voted for their / our nation's downfall.
Carter USED to be the standard-bearer for bad Presidents. Actually he WAS THE worst US President....until Obama. When Iran held our hostages Carter demanded them back...even attempted a military rescue of our hostages. Iran has 4 US hostages right now...and they weren't even important enough to Obama to ASK Iran if they would return them to us in exchange for the 'deal' he gave them that included BILLIONS of Dollars, and end to sanctions, a pretty un-opposed pathway to get nuclear weapons.
Obama's Iran 'Deal' will prevent Iran from getting nukes as much as his Syrian 'RED LINE' prevented Syria from using biological weapons against his own people.
And in response to arguably America's worst day, 9/11/01, Bush declared to the citizens of NY and the world, "I hear you, the world hears you, and soon the people who did this will hear you."
The day after Obama's own 9/11 - a day in which 20 US embassies throughout the Middle East were simultaneously attacked, 4 overrun, & 4 Americans were killed - to include the 1st US Ambassador in over 30 years - he spoke no words of comfort or assurance to Americans. Obama and his administration clown posse attempted to sell the lie that the attacks on the US and murders were (almost justified) because of a bogus VIDEO! Almost a month later, during a speech before the U.N., Obama once again blamed a video and declared to the world - especially the Muslim world - almost apologetically, "The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam." The 4 Americans, and their families who were lied to regarding the reason for their deaths, deserved better than that. AMERICA deserved better than that...
