Another Legendary Actor Has Come And Gone: Dean Stockwell.

..he was pretty good ...had a brother that was also an actor--Guy

The role I'll always remember him for was Hopper's buddy in Blue Velvet. His role wasn't big, but it was memorable.

He had a LONG career and was an outstanding child actor who managed to transition to adult roles

Huh. I never realized he'd had a career as a child actor.

The man who never met a scene he couldn't steal. He was that good...

With Richard Widmark and Lionel Barrymore

He was 85 and he went of natural causes.

God bless you and his family always!!!

Holly

P.S. The three films of his that I have seen are the Langoliers, Air Force One, and The Nanny Express.
He was fabulous (as a villain) in Air Force One. I have the Langoliers; I'll have to watch that again. I saw he had died, yesterday --- he was a prized actor.

^^^ I wouldn't consider his Air Force One character to be a villain. He did try to get the Vice President to over ride the order to release the terrorist, but it wasn't because of him having a villainous mind frame of any form. He was only trying to stay with what the United States is supposed to stand for: We do not negotiate with terrorists.

God bless you always!!!

Holly

He reminded me a little of James Dean, you know? he had the same interesting features.

RIP Dean.
