I saw a piece on the news last night where Kotek was claiming there was no need for intervention from the feds as Portland is "safe" The video showed peaceful streets in the DAYTIME. The only video depicting violence was outside of the ICE facility at NIGHT and there was no local police presence. So the left's narrative is that everything in Portland is hunky dory EXCEPT at the ICE facility and they won't police that violence---NOR do they feel like the feds should be able to defend themselves. YOU CAN'T MAKE THIS STUFF UP!

That's 900+ times per year v's the UK. We have guns, just apply. In the UK, YOU ARE personally 100% responsible to have made yourself a suitable gun owner. I would say 99% of Americans would fail the UK gun application system, their answers in a police interview would immediately make them unsuitable. I don't live in Chicago, never visiting, except to change planes. I actually do not care how many Chicagoans, Chicago thugs kill. I haven't a fk to give. Except for maybe Brookport, IL, I pretty much avoid the whole state, as it is not one of the 30 states, my carry permit is recognized in, so I won't be caught dead there, nor face prison for defending myself there. If Chicagoans, want to come here to shoot at me, I will be more than willing to light up their life. If you want to live there, fine. You deal with it. I have my own life and enough to deal with, thank you, very much.

Lucky for you, I bet Illinois recognizes your driver's license!

I've yet to figure out how you need a carry permit from the state just to exercise a constitutional right, yet I don't need a permit to speak freely, or be defended from self-incrimination, etc.
