Another food comparison, cheddar cheese brick in Canada, almost $30 (it will be over 30 after taxes).

I think democratic countries with similar labor laws environmental regulations and costs, should agree to no tariffs between them

Meaning the US, canada, Japan, and the EU

But if so they should exclude products from communist china

We cannot tariff what we do not accept. This is Made in Canada dairy, we refuse your products in most cases...
Maybe the new tough guy up there is planning to get some cheese from his new bestie, Xi. So, it's either that or keep letting Canadian dairy farmers rip the people off.

How dare you speak about my leaders that way!?

Comparative products are actually more expensive here in Phoenix:

Err, isnt Gloucester in England? I could show you European cheese prices but just seeing the price makes me ill. We are talking sometimes about 60-80 bricks depending on the product.

It is funny though, I believe we have a Gloucester in Ontario too lol. We copy the Old Country though we have less and less in common each year.

Yes, the problem is that Canada has been violating free markets and the Americans know it now.

I cannot speak beyond this, as much as some of your boot lickers here take the side of dishonest Canadian police; we are interfering in corporations, tampering with HR and careers, among other insidious activities for which I cannot share publicly but for which your agencies know. This is done especially in American corporations, though not exclusively...

If you get poor enough you could get GOVT cheese in a cardboard box barely any markings. Problem solved.

So you approve of the starving Canadians?

Our use of food banks is at insane record highs already, I have posted on this. The working poor using food banks in 2026. Is this progress?

Join the USA where streets are paved with Gold and everything you need is free.

Alberta is coming in. Then it will domino in western Canada.

Geez, that's nuts. I'm right across your southern border in Wisconsin, the largest manufacturer of cheese in the US. I can get a 2 pound block of mediocre Walmart sharp cheddar for $6.96.

Maybe we should set up a side business smuggling cheese into Canada. :laughing0301:
