In my 84 years, I have noticed through personal experiences and media reports that a patina of violence seems to envelope the behavior of many people of the ethnicity under discussion.

One will often notice in public that a mother's reaction to her child's unacceptable behavior is some sort of violent language or even violent correction.

Furthermore, it is felt by some observers that the behavior of a significant proportion of their crimes are spur of the moment. E.g., they might not have planned to attack an Asian but seeing an Asian suddenly triggers a rage.

In the most gentle language, some cultures are "uptight" while some cultures believe in "let it all hang out."
