Another Democratic landslide in Trump country special election

The thread title is a big fat LIE shocker.

It is not. The Democrat won 68-32 in a seat that Trump won 72-23 and Romney won 66-33.

Moron she previously held this seat and was only narrowly defeated as part of the Trump massive win in 2016. The Republican who won her seat died, and she has won it back again. Hence this wasn't some landslide win that has anything to do with Trump you lying bunch of hacks.

And do you have a tale for all of the other seats Republicans have lost since 2016?

Do you have a tale for all of the seats Republicans have won since 2016? Poor lib, here :itsok:

Trump had a 'massive' win in 2016? lol

Trump kicked the shit out of your entire party and the liberal media. Your ancestors felt that beating.

The GOP flipped 3 state seats in special elections in 2017. The Democrats flipped 14.

Add that to the massive landslide the Democrats had in the regular 2017 elections, plus their wins since,

and you tell me what the score is.

Democrats lost nearly 1,000 seats did you forget or intentionally leave that out? I think we all know the answer.

And now in the last 16 months have turned that around soundly. This fall's election will replace a lot of those cons with good mainstream Dems.

Yep we do know why, in a word: Gerrymandering.

Did you notice how the PA Supreme Court redrew the districts in PA? The GOP plays politics very well, sadly they have won elections but never seem to be able to govern. We are supposed to be a nation of the people, by the people and for the people - not since the Supreme Court decided money = free speech has that occurred.

Even before the horrible CU decisions, dark money influenced biddable voters. Today we face dark money, and a sophisticated attack on the Internet by foreign powers, legally able to use money to influence our elections.

You people won the House, super majority in the Senate, and the White House in 2008. Just how did the GOP gerrymander the country barely 2 years later when the American people obliterated the Dem's in an historic loss of the House?

You people refuse to accept that your policies and agenda were rejected. You have 101 far fetched excuses for your loss, none of them true.

That's easily explained and as easy as a Poli Sci 101 blue book midterm question.

The power elite used money and fear based demagoguery on this single word "Socialism", to create fear in the general public.

In doing so the R's created a grass roots movement attacking the Obama Administration and all Democrats as anti capitalists, whose hidden agenda was to remake America into a People's Republic.

Conservative radio was complicit in this theme and by using lies, half-truths, rumors, innuendos, and by cherry picking phrases from the speeches of Obama and Pelosi, created the sea change based on distortions which created the fear and mobilized the biddable.

Demagoguery by Republican Pols upset that they lost the white House, and that an African American man was in the White House fanned the flames of bigotry, attacking The President as a foreign born Manchurian plant and not a real American.

Racism, already out of the closet when Mr. Obama was nominated by the Democratic Party, really got going when he was elected, and when he and the D's sought to reform health care, the R's and bigots came together on a single cause, make Obama a one term President.

Last night, Democrats flipped a Kentucky state legislature seat in a district Trump won by 49 points

Democrats keep winning in red states. How does that bode for their prospects in November,

in the so-called purple states?
I hope people have woke up. I know a lot of aca recipients who voted for trump. Hopefully they realize the difference between dems and gop now.

I don’t think trump will get many new supporters but his base will show up.

We need people who didn’t vote or stupidly voted for trump Jill stein or Gary Johnson to show up

You are lying to yourself fool. The Dem's losses were historic, you have to go all the way back to 1921 to find an ass whooping that epic. This wasn't some typical mid-term nonsense. Face facts Dem's ran to the left, got uppity, did not listen to the American people's objections and they got their ass whooped bad for it.
