Yet again the Jewish people face great danger. Not the whole Jewish people. Just part of it. The part concentrated in the Middle East. And this time, it isn’t our enemies who are arising to smite us. This time, the ones arising come from within us.

With our very own hands, we anointed the Huns who rule over us. A wild bunch, malicious, futile and unrestrained, leading their herd head-first into the wall.

And the world is silent…

At our head, we have placed a miserly, loudmouthed hedonist. A man defined by his own partner and friend from youth as a liar, fraud and charlatan. A man frightened of his own shadow and, mainly, of his dead father and living wife. And this meager man has smitten us with a government of fools and scorpions – half fools, half scorpions. With a defense minister who ardently supports ethnic cleansing; with a justice minister who sees the law as a club to settle nationalist and political accounts; with a fundamentalist education minister who wants to return us to a religion dating back 1,000 years, to the glorious era of the biblical Joshua, conqueror and destroyer of peoples, to the temple for fattening the god with barbecue cuts, to greedy, pleasure-seeking kings, convinced they had been anointed by the god to rule for eternity.

Is there any wonder that the rot and corruption are eating us up?

I have to subscribe to get the whole story, won't do that. Based on what you posted of the story it appears Israeli politics is just as pathetically emotive as American politics but that doesn't surprise me, politics is inherently emotive.
