Facts about the causes of the Poverty in the South.
1. There are more big urban cities in the South, than there are in all other regions of America, and of course the consequences of that is the crime rate, and the lack of educational achievement and lower academic standards.
2. There are more Casinos in the South and Midwest than there are in Las Vegas, Atlantic City and Reno Combined, and in all three major gambling cities the economic quality of life is low compared to non-gambling cities and towns.
And the OTHER resort activities IN casino areas, are considerably more dangerous places than they are in Non-Gambling cities and towns, and the more casinos there are per the population, the worse off the people are.
3. The lower your level of education, the more likely you are to gamble, also not so coincidentally, the more like you are to drink, smoke, do drugs, and commit crimes period, and the more likely you are to contract STDs.
Which makes the area around casinos considerably more dangerous than the area around other activities.
4. The Northeast USA is home to the least legalized Gambling activities, except for Atlantic City which shares the economic conditions with all other major gambling towns, which is low.
5. Obviously the less educated you are, the more likely you are to be "Blue Collar"..... and of course these
"Blue Collar" types are mostly found in the Big Cities, which the South has more of, than any other region in America.
6. REPUBLICAN Chris Christie Rolled back regulations on Casinos in Atlantic City.
So whose values is it, that are big apologists for any of those ?
