the issue is and always will be increase trade and protect your own industries.

Thus other countries will do the same thing

So a country like China does well as they flood the market with cheap products made in china which Americans do buy

It really the consumer that cause this "trade war" as they buy the chinese products. So in the end who gets punished.

American consumers who want to buy cheap stuff.
