It's only day one so I guess we will see, but I have higher hopes with the Venezuelan people... however sure there is a tight group within Venezuela that Maduro was probably showering money and gifts upon for their favor...and now they will be angry and hurting we may see a few acts from them... but most of the country has been robbed and had their properties and businesses appropriated by Chavez and Maduro... they will be happy to try and rebuild.

If we learned anything from Iraq, I hope we will keep their existing police force intact. I'm sure they are corrupt but it will be better than bouts of anarchy..

Hopefully the U.S. will not have to go too deep in guiding their new government. It all depends on who is waiting in the wings to help on their side.

As far as the oil, that is real revenue and it had ALL been kept from the people there. This is a really big positive chance here.

Only the military actually learns from lessons "learned", and they incorporate the lessons into future operational tactics and training. The political class that rules the military.., eh, not so much.
