I also don't think to take a hat off at the dinner table - and won the tit-for-tat abo0t that one day with my Gram. She ended up agreeing - the only reason she wanted it off was tradition but she didn't know why else. She said it was something in the church where the Priest wanted to be able to see your eyes or some shit - thus the "courtesy" of doing it was born.
Ah, you just like to argue. Are you a lawyer? If not you should look into it.
Either way, you should show your grandmother more respect than that.
But you think that has to do with tradition more than just being courteous, so I don't expect you to Do so. Lol

To me, it's courtesy to take the hood down inside... I'm not judging you for not doing so, it would be cool if you treated others with the same respect.
