To remove it as being a courtesy makes no logical sense. It's only conforming to some past traditional norms that, still, don't have hard logic behind them.

And there's reason for them indoors, to have a good nap during the day, for example......to sweat more during a workout.........to stop head-phone wires from over dangling........not that there needs to be a reason.

I've worn one during an exercise class, and I sometimes have my hoodie on in bed in winter if it's seriously cold... and I have the hood up in bed. To me, it's courtesy to take the hood down inside... I'm not judging you for not doing so, it would be cool if you treated others with the same respect.

No, I'm just consistent on not conforming to ridiculous traditions. that's all.

My grandmother respects my view and now agrees with it. shes my buddy. I have plenty of respect for her, she's just not a nazi and is open to change when it makes sense.

I have never met anyone who has a problem with people having their hoods on, though to be courteous, I remove mine when I enter a store. I could understand why it would make a clerk uncomfortable.

Those hoodies are here to stay. Even if they get them out of the schools, it is now a staple. Kids just have hoodies in their wardrobe.

It's based on common courtesy. It shows respect for the person you are talking to. I know that sounds illogical to you, but many people prefer eye contact when conversing. If I ever meet you and come into your home with my hoodie on, just remind me to leave it on. Lol

I'm not being rude but my eyes can see someone's face in a hoody perfectly, same as with a hat.

I would consider it rude... whether you would see yourself as being rude is only part of the issue.... it is, at times, considerate to take into account the opinion of the other person. I would consider someone refusing to remove their hood to be rude.
