I think that is a subjective assessment. I wouldn’t try to quantify a number other than saying “some.” But I would say that it is enough to make it a problem.

Yes, and none of their arguments make sense. Especially since they ignore tradition and rely solely on scripture that was literally compiled by supposed heretics. Their attack on the Church undermines the scripture they rely upon.

Yes. There are some old school Catholics who believe all Protestants are going to hell.

In fact, I still remember an old joke.

A young woman visits her Catholic parents and nervously tells them that surviving on her own has been difficult and she became a prostitute.

Her mother faints dead away.

After the mother is revived, the daughter says, "Mom, I know it's a sin, but I had no choice but to become a prostitute."

The mother exclaims, "A prostitute! Oh thank God! I thought you said Protestant!"
