While we have a few candidates jumping on the band wagon regarding Anchor babies and birthrights--it's important to know how this would work & change. We have Donald Trump and now Ben Carson acting like all that would need to be done is them sitting down at a table and signing off on an amendment to the Constitution. When in REALITY--the President of the United States has absolutely nothing to do with it.

How is the Constitution amended?
Article V of the Constitution prescribes how an amendment can become a part of the Constitution. While there are two ways, only one has ever been used. All 27 Amendments have been ratified after two-thirds of the House and Senate approve of the proposal and send it to the states for a vote. Then, three-fourths of the states must affirm the proposed Amendment.
Constitutional Amendments - How is the Constitution amended?

The ONLY candidate that has been honest about this is Carly Fiorina.

However they do it its something that needs to be done.

Remove the anchor baby and the mother has no access to our social system.

No access and she'll either have to work to support herself and her kid and take the chance that she will be found to be illegal and deported or she will have to go back to Mexico.

Get rid of anchor babies and all they provide and these illegals will either sink or swim. They will all be waiting to be found to be illegal and get shipped back to Mexico.

Also start prosecuting those who hire the illegals. Get rid of the wages and they will have a reason to come to America.

There is no such thing as an 'anchor baby,' it's a ridiculous contrivance of racists, bigots, and those with an unwarranted fear of Hispanic immigration.

A person born in the United States is a citizen of the United States, having nothing whatsoever to do with the condition of his parents.
