There was pure anarchy in the streets of Portland over the weekend, as Antifa took over directing traffic and harassed elderly motorists.
Portland has one of the largest and most active populations of Antifa members in the United States.
On Saturday, a group of the violent far-left extremists took over directing traffic in the city without the city stepping in to keep the peace and protect drivers.
“You’re a whitey, aren’t ya! Get the f*** down the road!” the leftists scream at a motorist.
The vulgar and violent group noticed North Carolina plates on a vehicle and began shouting at the couple in the car saying that they are white supremacists. They shouted at multiple drivers threatening to “beat their ass.”

At this point, if the mayor isn't going to order the police to protect civilians from Antifa, I think at the very least, Portland ought to send out an emergency alert warning people away from an Antifa gathering. Yep. This thread is one more reason not to go there. Met a charming couple from Portland the other day. Or, rather, ran into them. Both complete drug addicts. Covered with tattoos. Driving a beat up mini van packed with junk and ratty personal items. They were dark clad, dark energy, scowling, casing everyone walking by. Just all around solid citizens. And I've known people who have lived there and say these types are thick as fleas on a dog there. I'd just go around the town.

Basically, Portland is kind of like the garbage can of San Francisco and Seattle where all the hardest of the street thugs go to hang out. Though some parts of Seattle downtown are like Dante's Inferno.

My theory is this, the US is ultimately made up of European rejects, for better or worse. The worse kept getting shoved West until there was nowhere else to go. So they all settled along the Pacific Coast where amorality and debauchery became social norms. The worst of these were pushed out Northward. And so we have the Pacific Northwest, land of white trash. Portland is the epitome of this. All the above is made worse by the heroin trade coming in to Seattle and Portland from the Orient shipping. I'd say, put like 20 drug dogs in every port facility and about 70% of the problem would be resolved.

It isn't completely unlikely that Kurt Cobain is dead directly as a result of these social constructs in the region he lived/died in.
