This right here from one of your articles is mostly false. You have a 12 month free look on all Medicare Advantage plans and if you don't like it you have the right to return to original medicare and purchase a supplement without health questions.

It's not hard at all to get back on original Medicare.

Not only that, when people do figure out they’ve been duped and try to get back on real Medicare, the same insurance companies often punish them by refusing to write Medigap plans (that fill in the 20% hole in real Medicare). They can’t do that when you first sign up when you turn 65, but if you “leave” real Medicare for privatized Medicare Advantage, it can be damn hard to get back on it.

Clinton originally established Part C of Medicare but no one really caught on until the Medicare act of 2003 signed by Bush.

Medicare Advantage plan most of which include Part D is a good way for lower income people who cannot afford a Medicare supplement and Part D plan which they would pay higher monthly premiums for.
