the news is too depressing so I focus on things that are with in my control. Stressing out over what our corrupt government is doing to destroy my future isnt something that i can give energy too

The biggest domestic messes we have were absolutely caused by Trump. The loss of faith in the integrity of elections. The erosion of belief in our bedrock institutions. The move toward authoritarian rule. Stacked the SC with radicals who hold extremist positions. Caused more divisiveness. Added to congressional dysfunction. Is responsible for the anti-vaxxers. Delayed progress on taking measures against climate change.

   He's angry at the Lincoln project "Rino's" for not supporting him.
   
   He's angry at Mike Pence for his acknowledgement of Biden as the winner in 2020.
   
   He's angry at members of his former staff for testifying against him during the Jan. 6th committee hearings.
   
   He's angry at prosecutors who have called him to account for stealing government documents he was not allowed to have, pressuring the Georgia election officials to overturn their election results, paying off pornstars and playmates for their silence, sexually abusing and defaming E Jean Carroll, (among his other misdeeds)
   
   He's angry at his own lawyers for not getting the results he wants and charging him for their work.
   
   He's angry at the media for showing photos of him on the golf course that make him look fat. (Never mind that he really is fat)
   
   He's angry at the Liberals for - - Everything!
   
   I often wonder if "The Donald" has thought about the fact that most of these things he's angry at are problems that he alone created.

I vote, but I don't expect those I vote for to do anything substantially valuable for society, never have. I only vote to keep the process well oiled against the day when my vote might mean something.
