My eyes are open wide enough to know two of the most overlooked points of that narrative.

1. "Ya'da"

That was used well over 900 times in the OT. (Any reference to sex was less than 12 and in those cases it was clearly consensual.) There are several uses of a non-sexual nature that would apply to Gen 19, such as "to interrogate" and/or "to punish." That is why the narrative points out both genders of all ages were at Lot's door. It wasn't homosexuality because that would require consent. So, IF any sex was involved it would have been rape. Do you understand the difference?

2. Lot offering his virgin daughters:

That was not an offer of sex. Virgin females were the highest form of currency so Lot was trying to buy his visitors protection by offering the most valuable currency in his possession. This is no different than someone today offering robbers all of their money or to empty their bank accounts.
