The title doesn't give the full story. It's the first time all three ratings agency had the US at less than top rating. Back in 2011 it was only standard and poors that downgraded, what's new is the moodys downgrade.

Why is it any different? SP downgraded in 2011 and Moodys downgrades us in 2025, why is one worse than the other.
