Two-thirds of all product just stopped shipping. Many categories of business that have tight margins have stopped shipping. Trump just reversed electronics because they stopped shipping but there are tons of other categories that are still on the sidelines that cant ship because they cant eat the margins. Good luck getting an artificial Christmas tree this year, or a patio set late summer, or cook wear for Thanksgiving, or inexpensive toys for families of modest income.

We had serious supply issues and supply chain bottlenecks that lasted all of 2022 and most of 2023. Then in late 2023 and 2024 the markets broke records once supply chains healed and product was flowing.

Like I said. I dont think you are in business. I run a large organization inside a multi-billion dollar company and I can tell you that supply disruptions were the issue. We couldnt get enough materials back then to meet the demand that existed... there was no problem with demand. People werent buying more or less...there was just less to sell to them. You'll see the same shortly as we stopped importing some materials to see what happens on tariffs.... that will mean we will have less stuff to sell in the fall. That means our prices will go up... unless Trump gets so many people fired the demand for our stuff drops. What a solution!
