I used to watch the up to date American Ninja Warrior films on TV. Things change and I quit. Today I saw a rerun of the 2017 show where Drew Dreschel came in first place on this show at Daytona Beach.
Got me to wondering if this champion still appears up to date on that program. Turns out he is in prison. He met an underage girl and when she was 15, he caused her to visit him at his gym and behind the warped wall they had sex. She had sent him explicit photos he had asked for. It took until last year in 2024 for him to be sentenced to 121 months in prison. Wonder what he tells his cellmates? He never can be on that TV program as it has banned him. Have any other contestants also gone to jail?
