....if you doen't understanad REALPOLITIK.
The Left says that "Bully" thing because the reason for American hegemony is beyound their comprehension.
America is dominant simply because only America has proven to have the correct views.
"Hegemony: leadership or dominance, especially by one country or social group over others." Google

Let's check
1. When Europe is in charge we get the Versaille Trea,ty assuring another world war. When America is in charge we get the Marshall Plan, rebuilding Europe.

2. As Morton Halperin pointed out, Europe refused a re-militarized Germany. The "bully," American said it was a buffer against Russus....hence the Bundeswehr, 1955

3. Halperin: Europe protested against missile on European soil, but the bully insisted. Guess what happened.
"In January 1985, as the United States deployed new missiles in Europe, the Soviet Union agreed to Reagan's proposal for resuming arms control negotiations on ....."

4. Usually it is Republican America that has the correct views, but Truman created Israel while Democrat Carter created the current Iran and Democrat Obama birthed the nuclear Iran. Trump aborted that baby.
Now Trump told Europe either we get what we want in Greenland or we are out of NATO, and you pay the bills and provide your own security.
Guess what.

5. Canada is whining and looking to China. But, is there really some other super power you would rather have hegemony???????

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte agreed with Trump about the need for America to control Greenland as national security for America and the free world, and here is the spin the Leftist Press put on that fact:

"THE HAGUE, Netherlands -- For days it seemed there was no way out of the latest standoff between Europe and the United States: U.S. President Donald Trump insisted he must have Greenland — and would settle for nothing short of total ownership.

Even after he dropped the threat of force in a speech in Davos, Switzerland, on Wednesday, the impasse remained. Enter: Mark Rutte.

The NATO secretary-general appears to have been instrumental in persuading Trump to scrap the threat of slapping punitive tariffs on eight European nations to press for U.S. control over Greenland a stunning reversal shortly after insisting he wanted to get the island “including right, title and ownership.”

In a post on his social media site, Trump said he had agreed with Rutte on a “framework of a future deal” on Arctic security at the World Economic Forum in Davos, potentially defusing tensions that had far-reaching geopolitical implications."

He didn't persuade Trump to drop the tariffs, those tariffs were siimply Trump's negotiation tactics.eee

He persuaded the Europeans that Trump was totally correct.
