Biden was stuck by nothing. Those dates were arbitrary depending on conditions and what the Taliban was doing. Biden used his pen and paper to overwrite everything else Trump had put in place.... he could easily have done the same here, but Biden wanted to take the credit for bringing troops back.

They could have easily left last month when the Taliban was running rampant over the countryside, or in June, May nothing ever stopped them from leaving.
