No, actually I didn't. I ended up soaking wet and didn't have a change of clothes until we got back to the hotel. Not a pleasant time or memory, personally.

I don't flock to Europe, or any other foreign location. There's plenty for me to see and do here in the USA on the rare occasion when I take vacation.

The only time I've ever been out of the US, I was 14 years old and it was less than a day spent in Canada, at Niagara Falls. I see no reason to leave the US again.

I understand .... but there is no indication (other than the caption) in either photo to prove they are pro- or anti- Trump or Hillary. In fact, the first photo is difficult to even see if it's in the US. That's why I asked you for verification. I don't really believe either of them is genuine.

Well, surprisingly middle Europe that took most of the punishment is the most beautiful, and has been preserved and redone. France and Belgium are wonderful but Germany (you'd expect to be nothing left it) is MARVELOUS. I know that you've already made your decision, and I'm not trying to make you change your mind, but ......... almost every German city and village is beyond belief. They are just so beautiful that you cannot believe your eyes. I have been to every nation in Europe except for Belarus and I have to say that Germany is the best. I have lived in the US (about 20 years) and I remember a pet food company (bird seed I think it was) called "Hartz Mountain". I've also lived in Germany. Härtz Mountain is in Germany and the most amazing town there is Goslar. Goslar im Härtz. ..... wow! If you change your mind some day ......
