We can hear and read every pundit there is, but on Tuesday America showed what it is. The denials just need to stop. This s a racist, sexist country, period. Harris didn't lose for any reason that will be stated by either liberal or conservative pundits. White racism and sexism still reigns in this country. Democrats don't need to get in touch with the so called working class, Harris had a working class agenda. Biden and Harris made it so that union members pensions were saved, Biden stood in picket lines with union members, the first president ever. This was an administration that worked for the middle class.

With another solid performance in the third quarter, the U.S. has grown 2.7% over the past year. It is outrunning every other major developed economy, not to mention its own historical growth rate.

Black men did not rush to support Trump. Basically the same percentage of black men voted for trump in this election and in 2020. Black men overwhelmingly supported Harris, so don't even try that one.

I have always liked Joe Biden. My hatred for Trump is visceral.

That does not keep me from blaming Biden for the victory of Trump. Early in his term Biden should have announced that he would not run for reelection. That would have opened the Democrat nomination to competition that would have led to the victory of a Democrat nominee who would have been more appealing than Kamala Harris, who I voted for in the general election, by the way.

Another problem was that too many Democrats were too sympathetic to Geroge Floyd, and the black ghetto riots that followed his death. Too many Democrats told whites that we are responsible for high rates of black poverty and black incarceration. Too many Democrats favored diversity, equity, and inclusion as a way of selecting student bodies and employees, rather than merit, experience, and qualifications.

Unions are now going to be the primary means of fighting Trump's oligarchy, that collective action can cripple industry and destroy dictators, I see no other way of combating this.

What about 2020 when Harris was out before the first primary, you all voted for the white guy. Was it racism back then as well?

Maybe people just didn’t like her policies.

We had a Congressional race many years ago where a black Republican ran against a white Democrat, here in NoVa.

I of course voted for the black guy, since his political positions agreed with mine, but the white dude won. I didn’t hear anyone screaming about how all the liberals were racist because that didn’t vote for the black guy.

Of course I do. Nevertheless, Trump does not have a uniformed private army like Hitler's storm troopers. He has not outlawed rivals to the Republican Party. He has not forced the closing of liberal newspapers and broadcasting stations. Trump might want to achieve those things, but the American people are too individualistic to allow him to.

This is all true, but you'll have to explain how "allow him to" comes into any of this. We all watched as he mishandled Covid and nobody stopped him, not even Pence who could have done more to resist, remember a VP cannot be fired by Trump but Pence the Puss just stood there like a dildo.

This is probably why Trump likes to appoint weak men as VP.
