Indeed they do. But thia one was still #1 in a couple categories, i think. So that idea seems like a stretch as the explanation.

Possibly. I would assume the streaming rights for things like this are licensed in blocks of time though as well so its position on any particular category may have nothing to do with it.

The fact it is black history month may have also led the owners of the media to push for a little more than Amazon was willing to pay as well. I don't see anything that points to this being pulled as last minute or out of the standard cycle. THAT would give some credence to other ideas but if it was just pulled like the tons of other content pulled regularly then.... where is the news in it?

Well, if that's the case, pulling the documentary is part of the correction. If they are germane, it could kill the documentary entirely.

That's not how they usually correct them.

I would think it depends on the seriousness of the error and how germane it is to the documentary. A small correction can be made in the opening credits or on-screen. A common, false thread throughout would send it to the trash bin.

PBS removed it from their own streaming service. So you just lost a bet.
