I'm not a progressive. The shooter's video shows that she was trying desperately to leave, backing up to clear the agent in front of her vehicle then turning the steering wheel sharply to the right to avoid hitting anyone. Her demeanor also doesn't suggest aggression in any way.

The only way she could have hit the agent was if when she backed up the agent moved forward toward the vehicle. She backed up in order to steer clear of them when she pulled forward.

Given the ICE agent's experience of having been dragged by a car during a prior incident I can understand him not wanting it to happen again. But she had turned her car sharply to the right, not at him, when he shot her.

He had .01 seconds to react. The first shot was through the windshield. No way of anticipating her swerving.

Recipe for a disaster: A quick and sudden action in the midst of a police order. How could a woman with kids have been so careless? Answer: She was egged on by her butchy friend.
