The 'unthinkable' has just happened for solar power in Britain

Renewables destroy the environment. Birds and raptors are killed by the millions every year by solar and wind power generation. Then it is cloudy with no wind. And yet, the percentage of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere keeps going up and up and up ....Climate change may or may not be occurring, but is is for sure NOT caused by human fossil fuels use. There is no empirical evidence that fossil fuels use affects climate.

20 to 30 years gaurentees standard for the panels to maintain at least 80% of their capacity. Many photocells much older than that still producing power.Any idea of the usable lifespan of a photocell?
Best comment in that article;
""Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player that struts and frets his hour upon the stage, and then is heard no more: it is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing."
You can't make this stuff up. Climate change is a false premise for regulating carbon dioxide emissions. Nature converts CO2 to limestone. Climate change may or may not be occurring, but is is for sure NOT caused by human fossil fuels use. There is no empirical evidence that fossil fuels use affects climate. Likely causes are well documented elsewhere.
Here's why. Fossil fuels emit only 3% of total CO2 emissions. 95% comes from rotting vegetation. All the ambient CO2 in the atmosphere is promptly converted in the oceans to limestone and other carbonates, mostly through biological paths. CO2 + CaO => CaCO3. The conversion rate increases with increasing CO2 partial pressure. An equilibrium-seeking mechanism.
99.84% of all carbon on earth is already sequestered as sediments in the lithosphere. The oceans convert CO2 to carbonate almost as soon as it is emitted. Everything else is sophistry or mass hysteria.
A modern coal power plant emits few pollutants except water vapor and carbon dioxide. Coal remains the lowest cost and most reliable source of electric energy.
"Whom the gods would destroy, they first make mad." Longfellow"
Beale, sometime post an article from a peer reviewed journal that backs your silly flap yap. You cannot because there are no such articles. We know how much coal and oil we have burned. And if it were not for the oceans absorbing CO2, the percentage in the atmosphere would be far higher. However, as the oceans warm, they lose their ability to absorb CO2. So more of what we produce will stay in the atmosphere, and result in more rapid warming. There is no other source for the rapid increase in CO2 in the last 150 years. And yet, the percentage of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere keeps going up and up and up ....Climate change may or may not be occurring, but is is for sure NOT caused by human fossil fuels use. Naturally.
If you are familiar with the ice core samples, as the average temperature of the Earth goes up, the atmosphere as I'm sure you would be aware, can hold more CO2, thus that equilibrium that we are talking about can be pushed upward.
None the less, the Earth's naturally ability to filter out CO2 will continue unabated.
That percentage will continue to increase as the temperature rises.
Classifying CO2, (the gas you exhale,) as a pollutant is the most absurd thing I have heard since classifying a plant as an illegal substance. Seriously though, if the big brother finds certain plants on your property, you could lose your house. That is how insane governments are. People believe this shit. Their breath is a pollutant which can be taxed and plants are illegal. wtf?

Then you better have a talk with those ultra-liberal Texan's. They just keep installing more and more solar and wind power.Hey, Give Adolph's Taint a break here.
If the limey's can make solar work then good for them, great. I don't care if they recycle everything they eat.
In other words they can eat their own shit for all I care.
I have no problem if it's EFFICIENT. In other words it doesn't have to be subsidized by government because the costs of building and maintaining it are offset with profit. I'm all for investors establishing any sort of "renewable" energy if it doesn't cost the user an unreasonable amount, and doesn't have to be subsided by the user's taxes on top of their utility bill.
10 bucks says that isn't the case in the UK, but it's their money. I don't care if they waste it.
Its such an exciting time.Solar power starts ascent in Texas | Business | Dallas News
Texas is easily the No. 1 state in wind, with more than twice the capacity of California.
On solar, however, Texas has been lagging. It ranked No. 10 among the states in solar power as of September. Texas doesn’t match the incentives of some states and has an abundant supply of other cheap energy, including natural gas.
But prices for solar panels have fallen over 80 percent since 2009, making it competitive with fossil fuels. That’s ramped up the outlook in Texas, because there’s plenty of sun, a growing population, a huge electric load and a hyper-competitive electricity market.
Last year, solar installations on ERCOT grew almost 50 percent. This year, solar generation could jump sixfold, according to ERCOT projections, which are based on developer agreements to connect with the grid.
By 2030, solar will add 14,100 megawatts of power if proposed rules to cut emissions and haze remain in place, ERCOT estimates. That could power over 2 million homes in the summer. And if solar builds out as projected, it would account for more new capacity than wind and natural gas plants combined, ERCOT said.
Damn those ultra-liberals in Texas.
