Antwerp-based Israeli street food chain Boker Tov has announced it is exiting the Belgian market, filing for bankruptcy and closing its final remaining location.
Owners Tom Sas and Lori Dardikman attributed the closure to a “massive loss” caused by organized boycott campaigns following the genocide in Gaza.
While the owners cited external pressure, financial records indicated the chain had been struggling with mounting debts and rapid expansion since 2021, recording its first losses prior to the 2023 genocide.
