Eran Aloni, his son, told Knesset News: "My father was hit by shrapnel and a missile hit his house directly. He shouted for help to come and rescue him and when they arrived he was no longer alive. We are at war and this is the price we are paying."

A few hours earlier, on Saturday evening, Eti Cohen Angel was killed after being critically injured by a missile hitting a building in a residential neighborhood in Gush Dan.
