Nick Sandman, who became a MAGA hero, and made all the rounds of right wing media lost in a sumary judgment in all his remaining cases. CNN and NBC had both previously settled with him for undisclosed amounts that reportdly were only a small fraction of the hundreds of millions of dollars that he was seeking from them. Those two, and their settlements will not be effected by the judges recent ruling. ABC, Rolling Stone, CBS, Gannett, and The New York Times were all victorious against Sandman's accusations. Perhaps CNN and NBC might not settle so soon next time, but since their settlements are secret, and much less than Sandman was seeking, they might have saved money on litigation. Either way, the Sandman saga ended up being just another MAGA exaggeration that stirred up the trump base, but amounted to nothing.

so you are happy the people that slandered him dont have to pay eh commie ?

Then let us know, when he wins on appeal. For now. He lost.

BULLSHIT never heard of this little thing intelligent people refer to as an “appeal.”
Appeal on a summary judgement? Do you know what a summary judgement is?

In a summary judgement the defendant admits that every allegation of the complaint is true and the plaintiff still has no case. What would be the basis of the appeal?

Sure, but it doesn't apply here. Sandman requested a summary ruling by the court. When you request that, there is no appeal. Sandman shit and fell back in it. Just another crazy right wing claim that had no proof to support it. Don't worry. He kept the crazies riled up for a while, and that's all trumpsters wanted anyway.

You don’t know what the hell you’re talking about. But why am I telling you that? You likely already know that you’re busy talking out of your ass.

I would thank you for a credible link showing where my remark was wrong.

The courts determined the truth. No idea what the truth might be in your alternative universe.
The judge made some findings of fact based on some evidence in order to then apply the law as he understands the law.

In this universe, of course, a decision to dismiss on a motion for summary judgment does end the case… unless and until that decision is reversed on appeal.

A higher court (or two) will decide if the summary judgment granting dismissal was legally proper or not. All your wishful thinking won’t mean anything on appeal. If it is overruled, the cases will be reinstated on the calendar for trial. (Unless they also reverse the denial of Sandman’s motion for summary judgment in which case he wins and the five defendants will lose. That would only leave a question of how much in damages. That entails either a limited trial on the damages or maybe a round of settlements.) 😁

Sounds official. Now, how about that link showing it is actual law instead of you just spouting bullshit.
