Why should we celebrate traitors to our country ?
It's history. What next? Remove Civil War information from text books because the Confederacy has to be mentioned?
. Exactly, but the blacks can keep the slavery issue for the purpose of their history going, but not other American history to be allowed ??? I think they do this or want this (some not all of them), in order to keep these days
WHITE GUILT going until the end of time it seems...
So don't allow any history that shows an uninformed white people 200 hundred years ago ((who lived outside of what took place on the corporate run plantations way back then)), from making a historical (even though uneducated back then) stand against allowing a culture that appeared at the time to be very strange to the average white citizens in concerns of their African cultural ways in which they (the whites) had no idea about, and where fear took over to ever be allowed eh ????.... They (the whites) were afraid of their (the Africans),habits, their speak, their religious beliefs, and also because of the way in which the slave owner had created a perception that the Africans couldn't adapt to the white culture or learn white cultural ways, so it had been cast by the slave owners on purpose these things, to then keep the whites not wanting the Africans to infiltrate the white culture in those days if we're freed, and not sent back to Africa once they were freed.
Sure people were not learned or schooled in the possibilities of what could be great for all back then, and how people could assimilate, and how they could be educated at the same level as others were, and so because of these thinking's that were understood back then because of everything that took place "white people" allowed their fears to get the best of them, and they decided to try and protect their culture from being infiltrated by these very strange and unknown people's who were very dangerous looking to them at the time, not schooled properly, poor, wild looking, strong physically from the hard work and living conditions they lived in, and of course this made the men appear menacing to white women and children back then, so they (the whites) were not ready to allow them to be a part of the white culture, and to be a part of their white European styled citizenship back in those days so war it was for them sadly enough....
Now was it understandable if we're looking at it through the average working class white European cultural eye back then maybe ??? It took sometime and even a war to work it all out for years to come, but the nation & the Africans who became American citizens (freed from their corporate plantation slave owners),has really come through it all with a united spirit for most all who knows the history of it all, and are now enjoying the triumphs found in it all ever since. If keep any of the history from these time periods, then all the history should be acceptable to display, and to be talked about openly in the right format and platforms that are set up (museum's etc.).
To erase one side of it should cause it all to be erased imho. No more "Roots" shows, no more black history month etc. if no more civil war history that allows the white side of it to be known as well. The main thing is what the end results were that joined a nation together. Of course there are those in society (black and white) that will make people think that it was all a mistake to have ever come this far, and especially when see people acting in a bad way, but those people need to be re-educated, and worked with in order to continue this nations quest to remain united.
Right now there are cultures (i.e. demonic, tattoo, voodoo, and the list is long) that are new or being created that make people want to separate themselves and their families cultures from such things, and are they right for wanting to or are they wrong for not wanting their children to be exposed to any and everything the evil one is trying to expose them to today ??? Now in the case of the slaves, and the white culture rebuking their entrance into their society created, was not because the slaves couldn assimilate or learn the same as they could, but it was because of the perception the slave owners created in which cast fear into the white culture that lived outside of the plantations, and where as they only had little to no contact with these slaves at all. Because of what happened to these people, it took them years upon years to get out from under the situation they were placed into. Sadly today blacks who are descendants of slaves, and who have assimilated greatly, and who are successful are considered as uncle Tom's to those blacks that want to remain outside of the assimilation perception, and want to be accepted regardless of any type of culture they choose to create or regress back to.
Surprisingly, they get angry if they are not accepted in anything they do by other cultures, but why is that ?? If one stretches the bounds of reason, and creates a culture that is unacceptable to other cultures, then don't be surprised when another culture shuns you or anyone like you. Hard core biker culture has been one example of this, where as the hard core biker has been shunned by mainstream cultures many times, because it has been experienced and perceived as a culture of rebellion, of non-conforming bull crap, lawlessness, criminals, and the uneducated. Now if do these things should mainstream culture accept them or rebuke them ?? This is exactly why Martin Luther King put in his speech about character to be judged upon, and not the color of ones skin to be judged upon. The character of an individual, and the culture or of a nation can stand in judgement, so it's always best to check oneself, ones culture, ones group, a club, gathering/protest or ones stand as a nation, because all are to be judged upon in the end. Black people rejoice for the outstanding gains that you have made over time, and praise the Lord for your deliverance out of slavery just as the people were who were delivered out of Egypt the same. Amen.
