What are you thinking? Presidents rarely know appointed judges personally. Nothing new there. They are recommended by trusted administration staffers, vetted by trusted administration staffers put in place from president's inner circle. At least, that has been the case for all other Presidential judicial appointments. Just what is it, you have against these Trump appointees?

That doesn't mean it's legal for him to insert himself into the situation, if they had all walked away as they were told to do, then none of it would have happened. The cops should have cuffed all of them and detained them. Instead they pushed the woman to the ground and pepper sprayed everyone. Escalating the situation. Thats poor training. Local police should have been there but were ordered to stand down.

They should have arrested them all at the very beginning, as soon as they stepped off of the sidewalk. I don't agree that protestors or rioters should have the right to get up into the faces of LE and spit on them, throw things at them, or even get within so many feet of them. None of that is 'peaceful protest', and the 'rights' of rioters and protestors have been taken too far.
