It can be serious and deadly. I was self-injecting daily with Eliquis after a nasty leg fracture.

He's lucky. I began being increasingly short of breath about 10 years ago and I finally went to an ER. The doc told me I had a dozen small clots scattered in both lungs. She said they usually only find that on autopsy. I've been on warfarin ever since.
