(Even though the video says "Trump's AI problem", this isn't about Trump. This is about AI. Trump just happens to be the president right now who has to deal with this (or not) right now).

So, rich people are buying AI shares, AI is where the most growth is.

Rich people are also more likely to vote.

You can't attack the AI industry.

Trump has exempted AI from tariffs and even given subsidies.

However AI uses a lot of electricity and water and is also taking poorer people's jobs.

The more angry poorer people and young people get, the more likely they are to vote, and vote extreme.

Is the US just setting itself up to fail on AI? And what are the solutions?

Will the US have to introduce a UBI (Universal Basic Income) for poorer people? Then what will the problems be? People with nothing constructive to do might end up just being in gangs and things.

Actually, AI is a bigger threat to lots of white collar management jobs.

The only thing that keeps me in any support of AI at all is the fact that everyone is doing it and so we better do it better and do it first or we are in trouble. The USA needs AI to protect itself from other country's AI.

That is until all of the AIs begin communicating with each other, formulate a plan and collectively unite to take the planet over and make us all their bitches.

Msking excuses for Trump for ******* up on this one again huh OP?

Pretend it was President AOC making this decision and criticize accordingly.

What fuckup? AI is generating $800b in new spending in 2026 for new power-plants, power-line upgrades, and new data centers.
That a British poll says that AI is not "popular" as we can see from NIMBY opposition to data-centers, proves what? Nothing.
You can't dance around the unpopularity of democrat policies.
Pretend it was President AOC making this decision and criticize accordingly.
AOC is a moron whose "decision" let the new Amazon HQ2 go from her district to CA. Very dumb.
She prefers to live with blight to a new modern corporate HQ.

Regarding AI, AOC is concerned for a "bubble" that could burst requiring a bailout.
Which means what? Nothing. Because there is no AI bubble.

Actually, the "unpopularity" of AI doesn't reflect on Trump's approval, if you even believe British "polls".
"Affordability" is a much bigger issue for 2026 and 2028, after Biden's disastrous inflation.

Not attack the AI industry, but AI can be regulated.

Hoping for the commie vote? Not happening. Republicans are united, and democrats are divided.

How can AI fail? Not be able to generate earnings to pay for the large investments? We'll see.
The US already has UBI, its called WELFARE, or SNAP.
What happens if AI creates more jobs? Like the internet did.

AI will be used by corruption in government to frame innocent people for crimes they did not commit.

I think AI will help us more than it hurts us

Follow the first step in First Aid which is to stop the bleeding

We must place a hold on legal immigration and step up deportation of migrants already here

"us" meaning big government left wing Zionists who will use AI to frame innocent Americans who do not agree with big government left wing Zionists...
I hear AI will enable the Jews to rule the world

It's only a matter of time before people figure out how to manipulate AI to give the results they want. Politicians and corporate robber barons are, no doubt, already working on that.

Here are three excellent, higher level YouTube channels on this topic. These guys are right on top of what's happening. This country is in no condition, not even close (of course), for what is hitting us right now. Not down the road, right now.

Forward Guidance
Peter Diamandis (Definitely check out the new one on "The Genesis Mission")

People can do that without AI

You will not admit the socialism we have already with many programs and agendas is a reason the younger people are not enjoying as much as people in the past. you have no problem with foreign slaves as compared to our wages, making our products. And here is the kicker. Many of them are smarter than comparable Americans.

AI rocks.
